Happy Holidays 6: Dragon Boat Festival and Zongzi

Hello, Tim!
I am back with my usual unassigned letter of the week!
However, I would have to keep this one short as usual, for today (which is Monday, since we are on holiday because of the Dragon Boat Festival) I have quite a tight schedule. There a thing or two I want to talk about, but I would have to finish it within an hour.
Let’s get started!

Contents of the Week

- Zongzi: Food for the Festival and the Exams
- Reading my Second and Third Novel Written in Chinese This Year
- End

Letter XXIII: Celebration and quite a Glutinous Week

Hello, Tim!
Or more specifically, good morning! It is Saturday in the morning, 8:30.
I woke up when my mom did (she had to go working) at six, and I finally finished the book that has been with me for over three weeks! Comments later.
Yes, our yearly presentation was finished, but that in no way means we have the time to relax; our midterm is just around the corner AGAIN.
Later I will have to head out to run errands for Mom, and after that, I’ll be attending a French Music Festival with my former French class classmates. Then comes the usual Saturday German class. If I still had time, I’ll have to keep on with my history homework and also several other English assignments.

Contents of the Week

- Friday Partying with Grills (and a Small Spectacle from Yangming High School)  (p.s. Aubrey is Going Back to Germany)
- Harty Potter’s Goblet of Fire
- The French Music Festival with Grownup Friends
- End as the Last Letter Assignment

Happy Holidays 5: The Final Performance and Its Details

Hello, Tim!
Yes, we have just had our performance brought out to the audience on Thursday. Judging from the expressions and responses from the audience, we did an awesome job. I am not often the boasting kind, but this is one of the few moments when I can say although without much pride in my voice, that I am proud of ourselves.
The weather, albeit hot with the sun, was beautiful.

- Group Photos Bombarding

Happy Weekends 4: Performance Preparation and Rehearsal

Greetings, Tim!
We are in the final countdown of our final performance, and most of us have been working our heads off to push the process of our performance. Under the hot sun, there are tons of things that we are supposed to do, so many things that we even go to school at eight in the morning today (which is Saturday) and we will continue our rehearsal even tomorrow.
Thank you for your kind comments, Tim. I’ll try to keep up my work

Post-test Weekend: More Moping over Books and a Mother's Day Feast

Hello, Tim!
Our midterm was over, and the results… weren’t pretty. I think it was so foolish of me to think that I could still get decent scores without enough revising; after the performance at the end of this month, I will have to catch up with the studies once again.

Contents of the Week

- The Painfully Hot Weather
- Reading the Finale of The Iron Druid Chronicles and Moping until my Mother was Worried

Pre-test Weekend: Moping over Books (when I should be Studying) and Nightmares (that are not Scary)

Hello, Tim!
I am in the local library now, with the sun blasting hot outside. Maybe it can not be compared with the heat you experience in Arizona, it is certainly quite hot already for Taiwan.
After having started writing the letter, I found myself not really doing anything in this week. Maybe it was just the reading and reviewing taking up most of the time; hope the next week will be more eventful.

Contents of the Week

-Tragic Episode: The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan
-Pending Test next Monday, Tuesday
-Questions Answering
-Nightmares

Letter XXII: Going to School on Saturday and the Week in a Single Word

Hello, Tim!
Busy.
These weeks are just too hot for me to believe that it is still springtime in Taiwan…
As usual, we are still struggling to make up for the severely delayed schedule of our class performance. To do so, we even went to school this Saturday for rehearsals.

Contents of the Week

-Finally finished: The Alchemist
-Saturday Rehearsal
-Continuing the Morning Routine
-Questions Answering
-End with so Many Things on my to-do List
