Summer Vacation Day 8: Movies and Even More Houses

Hello, Tim!
This day, I stayed most of the time outdoors for two reasons: a) My mother and I went to the movies, and b) We also went to look for houses that are currently for rent.

7/6, Friday
The tickets I bought online were for the movie played at 11:30.
Conan is a detective animation series. At the beginning of the series, we have a genius high school student who solves all sorts of crime committed in ways the police couldn’t crack. One day, due to a series of coincidence, he was caught spying on the process of bribing by one of the bad guys. He was then forced to take some strange poison that was supposed to kill him, but for some strange reasons, he was not killed. Instead, he got turned into a kid with the looks of a seven-year-old! To get his normal appearance back, he changes his name (which is Conan, the name of the author of the Sherlock Holmes Series) and secretly garnered hints and information that will lead him to the underground criminal organization he now considers his arch-enemy and his only chance to get his high school boy body back.
But the movie installments of this series have the tendency to get inexplicably dramatic, every year in the theater edition of Conan, something always blows up: The cars, the buildings, the Ferris wheel, the bridge, the football arena, etc. You get the idea. Despite all the unrealistic plots and the physics-defying things that happened in the movie, the series is known for its wide popularity.
The movie was spectacular, and this year’s movie was consistent with the copious number of explosives. During the movie, we could hear some fanatic fangirls gasping when one particular handsome and attractive character showed up or flashed a devilish smile or parked a car, opened a door. Well, people are just crazy about the guy.

After the movie, a lunch, shopping for clothes for Mom, we went right back onto the metro and headed for the direction to the houses we are thinking about renting.
The first house looked well enough- clean, well-furnished- but two major problems we saw were that, opposite to the normal design of houses, there are no windows in the living room, hence no natural lighting for the largest space in the house. Secondly, the owner of the house specifically stated that all the furniture in the house is not to be moved away or replaced, and that would leave us with essentially no more alterations to the furniture placements with the fact that we were planning to move the beds and some small tables and of course, my precious bookshelf over. That was okay, seeing houses that don’t meet your requirements.
The next one was, well, allow me to say it, better than the first house we were satisfied with. Different from the house that is near to Eliza’s house, the second house we saw today was closer to my school. With a little more than ten minutes, I would be able to walk over to my school, which will be absolutely convenient for me. The design of the house was also awesome, leaving us with also two bedrooms, one study, one living room, and so on. (It has a nice view!) Best of all, it is the exact same price we have for the monthly rent of our current house, and it comes with a whole set of adequate electronics (minus the TV), all of which have only be used for a couple of years. The good thing about this house is that we both would love to live over here. The bad thing, surprisingly, is also that we all like the house. The house came in such an unfathomably well conditions, and there are still so many people who have arranged schedules with the owner, while some who came earlier than we did had already made themselves clear that they want the house. The house owner, who explained her methods to us, said that she wanted to wait until all the potential renters have seen the house, and then she would decide who actually get to rent the house. I tried to have high hopes, but I didn’t really think it would likely be us.

Tomorrow I will go to my Grandma’s for the usual visit, and this is all for today.
